There are many.

I definitely join Mark Buttonler, David Gilmour and Brian May.

But I also find Eddie Van Halen, Tony Iommi, Richie Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth super.

I could never call a guitarist because there are so many different styles.
Among my favourites in relation to Soli include Edward van Halen, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, Pat Metheny, Nuno Bettencourt, Allan Holdsworth, John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jim Hall, Gary Moore, Steve Vai, David Gilmour, The Edge and Guthrie Govan.
