I would recommend an Eco Tank printer. There no ink cartridges come in, but there are fixed large-sized ink tanks where you fill the ink with bottles. Thus, up to 90% lower ink costs are used than with a printer of the cartridges.

For example, this: The Commission shall, in accordance with Article 3(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council [8]. It can be connected via USB and also WLAN. There are no chips that count the pages. The ink level is displayed on the device via viewing window. The manual contains the download link for Windows and Mac.

You can also print with your smartphone/tablet. To do this, you only have to install the Epson Smart Panel App.

A complete set of ink is delivered which corresponds to a complete filling. With this you have approx. 4500 pages A4 range. A bottle of original ink costs about 10 euros. The whole also as a complete set for about 39 euros.

By what you print (handy, PC laptop…) It doesn’t matter. Important would be things like

  • Budget
  • Want with Wi-Fi/LAN?
  • Do you want to scan and copy?

Concrete question: WAS want to do with the printer? How much do you print? How high is your budget?

And as info: the notebook doesn’t matter if you’re looking for 50€ or 10,000€

Epson EcoTank ET-1810 from € 149,14 (2023) | Price Comparison Geizhals Germany

the ink does not dries out quite as quickly as the classic ink jet printer and the ink does not cost more than a new printer when buying it again
