Welchen Router an Telekom Glasfaser-Modem?

Hey,

Yeah, that’s where every router goes, even your current one.

In doubt, you just have to change what the settings do not try to get a line with access data using DSL, but you know that the Internet is easy on Port 1.

Hello,

then again from official position: You are generally free in your router choice – you just have to make sure that you bring the necessary technical requirements.

Yeah, usually every router runs.

The Fritz!Boxes are recommended because of the range of functions, performance and stability

So I connect a TP Link Archer.

In principle, each router should work.

you can connect any router that works with ethernet input, i.e. the whole fritz!box 75XX models

“Now is only the question whether I can theoretically connect any router or only those specified by Deutsche Telekom on their website?”

You can connect any technically suitable one. For this, he must support PPPoE via VLAN via WANoE in order to be able to establish an Internet connection at all.

If you want to use telephony, he must be able to SIP.

Everybody goes, you just use it as an access point.

This is wrong, the router must still make VLAN tagging on the WAN interface and then establish a PPPoE connection. And especially PPPoE needs a little more power from the SoC than normal NAT.

that has to run in router mode, not as a pure access point that does not work.
