I’d say that’s a little on character. The names are quite similar to the meaning, but I personally find Evelyn listening to a little “rebellious” and more combative than Eleanore.
In general, however, I find Evelyn more beautiful, even if the name is quite common, I find him beautiful and he can be shortened, for example, better. :

I already know some franchises called Evelyn. That’s a very common name.
Eleanore sounds more gentle, mysterious, sounding and special. That’s why I’d take it.
