Which motorcycle license?

Hi, I'd like to get a motorcycle license and have looked a lot about it on Google, but I can't seem to get a good overview. I'm 21 and would like to get a motorcycle license, preferably the open one, but you can only get that at 24, right? There are A1, A2, and A, but which one is for which class exactly? I once heard you can get one from 16, but I don't know which one, and would of course prefer to start a little further ahead, or do I have to start at 1 and work up to 3?

Correct, open A can only be done with 24. My tip would be the A80. With this you can drive up to 35kW (maximum output power 70kW) as with the A2 and automatically rise up with 24. However, with the A2 you can do, you would have to do another practice check that will save you from the A80.

A1 is for the so-called 125s, i.e. not more than 125 ccm (from 16 )

A2 for motorcycles up to 35 kw (from 18 )

A for everything (from 24 ) – it is possible to drive everything before long enough

If you don’t have one with 21, you can’t do A.

So you can do the A2 and after 2 years only expand through the practical exam on the completely open A.

Or you do the “A” with the key number 80

https://www.bussgeldkatalog.org/fuehrerschein-a-schluesselzahl-80/

This is virtually directly the Open A appearance only with the restriction you up to the 24. birthday maximum 48Ps motorcycles may drive (as with A2)

So the following possibilities:

  • Now with 21 make the A2 and extend to the A with 23 (with additional exam fees for the A)
  • Now with 21 make the A sz80 and wait until he gets up with 24 automatically. Wait a few months longer until you can drive the strong, but save yourself the 2nd driving test with fees etc (about 500€)

Hello,

  • A1: From 16 years, limited to 125ccm
  • A2: From 18 years, limited to 35kW (48 hp) You can also drive throttled motorcycles here, but only with an open performance of max. 70 kW
  • A: From 24 years (excluding pre-owned A2) or 2 years after the existence of the A2 bill
