Which theme park can you recommend for thrills?
Hello,
I have the day off tomorrow and would like to go to an amusement park again.
The adrenaline rush is important to me. That means theming doesn't matter.
I've been to Phantasialand several times, and I don't think the Taron is as intense as most people claim. The launch is good, but then it's rather mediocre.
I was thinking of: Europa Park, Heide Park, Hansa Park, Walibi Holland.
Travel times are not important.
At Europa Park, only Voltron is said to be good. Bluefire is less dangerous than Taron, and Silver Star is only high?
Heide Park has several rides but are they worth it?
Hansa Park would only be interesting because of Kärnan, Novo and Highlander
Walibi is said to have a lot of them, too. Goliath and Untamed are said to be the best.
Then there are the waiting times. During the week, everything is relatively empty except for Europa Park.
It always depends on what you like on roller coasters. Taron has a high speed and intense air time. Neither do these things kick me so much, I like curves and screws.
Voltron is really very good and also very intense. It’s definitely worth it. But the waiting times are of course relatively high because they are new. Accordingly, it would be a reflection to go to the EP for another time. The Voltron is not running away.
Blue Fire can be compared to Taron. Yes, it also has a launch, but is not overly fast and otherwise consists of many curves and screws. It’s fun, but it gets boring after a few rides.
Silver Star is just a bit up and down. Have fun if you like gentle Air Time. Because she has a lot of it.
Then I like wooden roller coasters from GCI. It is also not excessively intense.
Colossos is simply Silver Star made of wood. Up and down, a little fog, end.
Flight of demons I find beautiful, but not especially thrilling.
Dessert Race has a very strong acceleration to start, but the rest of the ride is boring to painful.
Carinan is very good. But here I find that the theming also contributes a lot to the mood. The ride itself is also fun.
Novo is good, to Carinan but also rather lame.
Highlander is worth it, especially in the afternoon, when you fall with the tilted seats.
And Nessie is a little smaller train. But make your mood. And I like the quite strong brake at the end, which regularly leads to an intense tingling in my body. But I think it’s just me. 😅
I haven’t been to Walibi yet. Untamed is one of the best in Europe.
Then I would recommend Energylandia in Poland. They have several good tracks, but Zadra alone is world class.
Because you’re driving quite spontaneously and, if I get it right, you only have the tomorrow day, I’d probably take Hansa Park or Walibi Holland.
Heide Park is definitely worth it. Colossus…big Loop…Scream.ok this is not a roller coaster but brilliant.
Each park has great roller coasters. And the tracks you’ve listed are the best we have here in Germany. In addition of course Wodan, Colossos and Dessert Race, for example.
Last year I was at the Energylandia in Poland for the first time. It was very horny.
After Poland I would also like to, but the 11 hours drive
This was only possible with one or two nights on site. So I always do this at amusement parks because everyone is far away.
