We had a long time ”HP ENVY Photo 7830 All-in-One” Printers, on the other hand, since some time we have the ”HP Color LaserJet Pro M479fdw’ printer and are very happy with it 🙂. The printer has cost 679 CHF.- + with additional toner (single) 1’239.80 CHF.- at MediaMarkt, online costs the in 4 pack 779 CHF.-, which is why we only buy it online or order it online.

I currently use two printers:

The Brother MFC-J5625DW (approx. 250,-€)

https://www.brother.de/alte-geraete/multifunctionalgeraete/mfc-j5625dw

I like the printer that you can use A3 format and that it has ink tanks with very large capacities for which there are also quite cheap replicas.

and

The Brother MFC-L2700DW

https://www.brother.de/alte-geraete/multifunctionalgeraete/mfc-l2700dw

He gave me an acquaintance whose son distributes printers via leasing, because I needed a printer who did not work via ink to print labels that do not blur even in rain. (I would have paid the printer too, but he was over with them). But also here you get cheap toner replicas.

I have the Epson Eco Tank ET 2815. There no ink cartridges come in, but the permanently installed ink containers are filled with ink bottles. Thus, up to 90% lower ink costs are used than with a printer of the cartridges. Since I have to print a lot and in color, I chose this one.

I bought it at Aldi for 199 euros in January.

I got an older one, because we were supposed to print a lot during homeschooling & I could never do that before. The problem is that my phone and my tablet are “too new” or the printer is “too old”. Even with the program that we have installed, I can’t print anything, so I keep asking friends for it.

The printer is from Canon, but don’t ask me what model.

I bought an OKI C511dn color laser printer that has cost 195,- as an output model and whose laser cartridges cost about 20,- for 4000 sheets as a refill. The printer prints very fast on both sides, in high quality and in view of prices uncompetitively cheap.

What operating system do you use? I gave up this printer with Win11.

MacOS 10.13. On this I emulsify various Windows versions from Windows XP and can also print on it.

I paid the Epson ET 2820 and the EUR 250 for it. But it was worth me; I am very satisfied.

I have an Epson ET 4800.

Admittedly, I paid more than for a disposable printer with ink cartridges. I now save expensive ink cartridges and don’t finance these disposable printers for 35€.

Having purchased a Hp Laserjet 3005 dn 2008, was not quite cheap. Was a device for business. Having this printer today still works like the first day.

With Win10 and Linux OpenSuse no problem.

Is only s/w, creates 33 pages per minute.

Admitted was expensive, but worth every euro.

Dell Laser Printer 3100 cn. purchased in 2006 for 600 Euro. Still works, but I’m afraid there will be no more toner to buy soon.

Canon PIXMA MP980. In 2008 for 250 euros. For scanning and for photo printing.

HP Officejet 200. For on the go. 2017 for 200 euros.

I have an old black and white laser printer from Xerox. It cost 500 DM. Once I bought a new cartridge for something good 100 DM.
Disadvantages: Drivers are available only until Windows XP and the paper draw works badly, probably the rubber of the reel has become hard.

Is there any old toner/inten cartridges for such old printers?

The toner is probably 20 years old. At the time, Xerox had a slight problem because he had withdrawn from the private customer sector.
But since I no longer print in order, the toner is sure to keep some time. Maybe longer than the printer or my PCs with XP – 2 have already given up the mind.

In recent years, some letters or city plans for trips, small stuff. Such a cartridge is enough for several thousand pages.

If your printer’s toner is 20 years old, how often did you use your printer? :D. It’s kind of hard to read through – 20 years is a long time

Canon Pixma something, a little over 100 euros as far as I remember, but the real price is actually paid in ink cartridges.
