With tickets from traffic associations you can only use trains of local transport, not ICE or IC/EC.
I do not find explicitly the statement “Nahverkehr”. It used to be extra, so I’m insecure.
You can use S-Bahn, Regional Railway and Regional Express, no IC, EC, ICE, Thalys or other long distance trains.
