As I was waiting at Karlsruhe Central Station, a Swiss train from Switzerland arrived. A man from Switzerland told me that SBB trains in Switzerland have silencers on their brakes. Is that really true? I'd never noticed it before. But when the train arrived, I noticed that it braked more quietly than trains in Germany.
Typical from a "German" perspective, for example for commercial drivers from Bremen or Hamburg.
