What topics are covered in the first year of Spanish lessons?

Hello, I have to choose an elective subject for the next year soon and I've decided on Spanish. I can already do a few basics, like say how old I am or where I live, and a few numbers and colors, and a few general vocabulary words and about 3-4 verbs. Now I'm interested in what topics will be covered in the first year… I'd like to prepare a bit so that I can start off with a good impression :). Do you start by learning how to introduce yourself or vocabulary, for example, or do you start straight away with grammar? And is it any use to me to already know things like colors, numbers and how to introduce yourself?

The most convenient way is to find out if you ask older students to take a look at their book.
You can ask the Spanish teacher as well.

Or you’re going to be in those books.
You will find that all are similar. And maybe one of them is the one you work with at your school.

And does it even bring me something like colors, numbers and imagine already knowing?

Sure.
You don’t need to learn what you can now. But don’t exaggerate it, otherwise you’ll be bored.
You start all at 0, so must: you don’t work.

¡Buena suerte!

Of course, the substance deviates somewhat from the federal state to the federal state, but how did these great grammar topics come about:

  • la pregunta indirecta a present
  • el rundio
  • el pretérito indefinifo

You usually start with a few simple vocabularies to express how to greet/ say, express your emotions, etc.

I’m sure if you have some premonition that you’ll find it a bit easier (and that’ll please the teacher(s):))) But you can’t do anything before the 1st Spanish year.
If you have other questions on the subject or if you want me to send you some documents/book entries/subscriptions of Spanish, please contact:)

Spanish is a language that lives from its forms, so from the grammar. It is not possible to put everything into words, as in German, but also the form speaks.

In situations you learn to imagine what Hobbies you have, your family. It goes on with personal and path descriptions, shopping, with what you like and what you don’t.

In the first year, so to speak in A1, you do everything in the present. Another answer was that the Indefinido came here. This is not actually part of the first. In the German-speaking countries, however, there is a past (and this can be done according to the textbook or School the Indefinido, Imperfecto or Perfecto) practically pre-picked in parts to later have more time for all the main past. It’s coming. But only at the edge and not at the depth. It’s only A2.
