Do you mean the operating system with Windows files?

This requires at least 64 GB to run meaningfully. To install more games, this is not enough. With 128 GB or 256 GB, you’re safer and that doesn’t cost much more (is there still 64 GB of SSDs to buy?).

I would only buy >= 500 GB so that it will last a few years. A Samsung 870 EVO 500 GB costs, for example, 70€. With 250 GB you are with 48€ (Conrad). An Intenso 512 GB is available for 44€.

The speed differences between the SSDs are small. It is more important to decide whether to take an M2 or SATA SSD. What connections does the motherboard offer?

When it comes to playing, the durability is not so tragic. In a workstation computer, a short-term failure can cause severe costs. Then it is not worth buying cheaper hardware.

Should take at least 256GB as main SSD if not 500 if necessary and it fits into budget.

Just don’t take the cheapest intenso or Kingston SSD. However, don’t have to be the most expensive ones, there are plenty of test reports just have to look around.
