Which saddle brands can you recommend?

Hello everyone,

Which saddle brands (preferably dressage or eventing) do you recommend? It would be great if you could also include the price 🙂

Thanks!

All and none.

If you have to fit the horse and you, it’s comfortable. The only saddles I didn’t like until now were Wintec! I didn’t think Euroriding was so great either.

I’m a lot ridden. I liked Massimo very much and prestige. Cwd wasn’t traffic either, summer was okay and Kieffer was okay. I also rode some NoName saddles that were all acceptable.

And the price has been from 200€ to 4000€.

And what does the info bring you now? This is unusable for you because the saddles probably don’t fit you and the horse. You have to prepare them at the Sattler Pro.

Ne are uncomfortable, qualitatively bad and fit on almost no horse neat.

Of course, there are the well-known manufacturers, such as Prestige, Kieffer, Stübben, Summer, and… The price for new products starts on average at about 3Tsd € up.

Recommendations are difficult because simply not every saddle fits on every horse and every rider – and can not be adjusted in any case. The best way to get a brand-independent sattler is to get the various models on offer and also by means of his expertise, if he can then see you something – or before you do something like Wintec on the horse, rather then look for good used saddles.

I think so. If you’re plastic, and I’m the back of my horses sacred, there’s only something sensible on it. A saddle fit is not only determined by the fact that you can adjust the head iron… just as important to me is high quality leather. Nothing yet experienced what would come to its properties.

Well, I’ve only had a Kentaur VSD so I can only report about it. I find it comfortable, well cut (if I can judge it with my laity opinion at all) and is well on the horse.

New price was around the 2000 € two years ago, but will surely be more expensive.

I had good experiences with Kentaur. There are also models below 2000€.
