Which direction should the fuel tap be closed?

Hello! A new fuel tap has been installed on my Puch Maxi S, but it only moves to the right and up. Now I wanted to ask which way the fuel tap closes. Regards

Usually it is open when it is in the flow direction. So in your case upwards

From stop in the clockwise direction: closed, open, reserve.

No way. That doesn’t correspond to any logic. There were gasoline extensions for operation, zb Trabant. Maybe you could put something wrong.
