I like the Eifel. The Maria Laach monastery complex is very well located on the lake.

The maars are very beautiful anyway.

I liked Xanten very well with city wall.

Münsterland with the water locks and castles is also worth it.

The old town of Lemgo also has a lot to offer, also Münster.

If you’re nearby, you’re also worth a trip to Herford.

The Teutoburger Wald with Kalkriese (R ömermuseum) and the external stones are also beautiful excursion destinations.

What is very romantic is the Moselle.

Beautiful castles with vineyards etc.

Can really recommend driving there! 👍
