You have less grip because of the positive profile and they take advantage of themselves very quickly.

There are so-called “mixed tires” for this purpose.

  • less driving comfort
  • less grip ==> less slope and earlier fly from curve
  • usually less good mixtures

You always have a scrubbing, slants become very unpleasant. Depending on the mixture used, much more critical -> slower driving is necessary.

Nevertheless, they can be interesting for travel – over 12’000 km do not create normal road tires.

These are mixed tires, I lean out of the window and say that the questioner means “Enduroreifen” stud tires.
