My tip: First make a list of what you want to see without preparing you big. Then see what your budget is for travels and make them first over the next few years. You can also gain insights into what is important to you in order to plan more trips.

For example, the United States on top 1 of my question surprises little, many would like to go there simply because you’re dealing with music, films and co. a lot with the USA.

Flights to the USA are no longer so expensive, towards Asia even more.

I was in a 14-day holiday times 10 days in “New York”, 2 days for arrival and departure (was 12 days, but they don’t really count) and 2 more to wash at home after that, to come back in if Jetleg etc. The 10 days we were mostly in New York to have even more time and not just to see Manhattan. But we also made a trip to Washington, for cost reasons but in the morning with the Greyhound bus back and back in the late evening so that we don’t have to pay a hotel there – you could have spent a good 2 days (or more). A day trip to the Niagara Falls is also possible from New York, but we did not do that then. For example, if you stay for 3 weeks, you could also install more cities “in the vicinity” e.g. Boston or by domestic flight where different. We wanted to go back to the USA, so the south and west of the USA (with some national parks) were irrelevant for the holiday, as New York once followed Favorit there and the rest at some point.

For East Asia, which is what we see as typical asitatically, I can recommend Japan or also Taiwan (where one comes with English most). South Korea, Hong Kong, etc. were similar, with South Korea, in my opinion, being of the bad at tourist friendliness. What you need to be aware of in Asia, especially East Asia: many areas there have been volcanoes and sometimes still active, so it can be mountainous, also in the middle of the city. Busan (South Korea) has remained very negative in my memory, where the weather was also bad and the mood is so generally a bit distorted.

For countries and Cities “near” like London, Paris, Scotland, Rome etc. you can always be lucky to find cheap flights and hotels, especially when you travel to low season and outside school holidays. There may be a long weekend or a week. Therefore, if you don’t have so much money yet, but also later at the age, because not so far away.

Spartipp: Consider what kind of land you really want to see from them and where you can save your money. Example New York: Does Empire State Building and Top of the Rocks have to be on the Rockefeller Center or does it have to be a viewing platform? To see how much hotels cost outside the city centre, but also see what you might have at extra cost in local transport plus how far the next station is and how regular the trains drive. Doesn’t bring 10€ to pay the night and pay 8€ a day more for local transport plus 40min more driving time per route, which is then often saving at the wrong end. I have often used AirBnb, then you can also cook in the apartment (if there is a kitchen), do not always have to go for food and saves money – does not mean of course not even eating to go more consciously to decide how often you do it.

Even in Australia, the flights are expensive if you can take enough vacations and then have enough money, it may be worthwhile to make New Zealand equal in a longer holiday. In the end, it’s cheaper than having to take another flight.

Bali is not a country

I know, but the signs in demand were full, otherwise I would have counted more cities and islands instead of only countries and Bali.

At the moment Bali is only in the trend with social media totally, so I wanted to know whether the FS is interested or not.

This depends on the personal interests. I’m on the antiques, so I always have Italy or Greece as a destination. Also culinary I like the area.

I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong when you’ve seen the big cities around Paris, London, Barcelona, Rome, Milan or Vienna.

There’s no standard. Everyone has different needs. One can define some top countries in Europe, and one typical for the most important world regions. In Europe, I propose: Spain and Greece for the Mediterranean and because of the cultural origins of Europe, France as an important European nation, Britain because of its particularly individual culture, Norway because of its stunning beauty. For other world regions: Perú or Chile for South America, USA for North America, Ghana, Kenya or Mozambique for Africa, Korea or Japan for the Far East. In order to really get to know the countries, you should not waste your time with the penetrant overrated historical memorials, especially on site, being mobile with your own vehicle, and watching the prall life of today. In addition, you can visit a lot, a lot more countries than just one each year. As it may be, one thing is clear:

Quien no ha visto Granada – no ha visto nada.

Everyone has to decide for themselves. Everyone has other tastes, for example, although I find the southern European countries such as Spain and Italy very beautiful, I prefer to stay in the north.

My personal list when it comes to nature and landscapes that I liked best:

  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • Sweden
  • Wales
  • Scotland
  • Norway (but that doesn’t matter, here I live)

Cities:

  • London (England)
  • Edinburgh (Scotland)
  • Ottawa (Canada)
  • Riga (Lettland)
  • Oslo (Norwegen)
  • Amsterdam (Netherlands)
  • York (England)
  • Hamburg (Germany)
  • Copenhagen (Denmark)

These are all the countries or cities in which I have already been and which I have particularly liked. I can only recommend it.

Depends entirely on your interests. Personally, I have a preference for artistic buildings and that’s why I would call Rome now spontaneously, but in general, capitals are always good for a surprise.

In any case Greece – especially the Greek islands.

Unfortunately, I only came late in life, how beautiful it is there.

In particular, Iraklia, Hydra but also Kos, Crete and Samos. The car-free islands have a very special charm.

I think the question is not to be answered on a flat-rate basis.

Everyone has other interests and every country has its charms, or not.

I mean, if you just want to watch, you can also look at a docue or even travel with “mirror”… To capture a country you have to be more often there, to get deeper. Europe would be enough for me to come from here all the cities are now largely equal. But you have to visit the real lie, not those who live “for” tourism…
