Ebbe and Flood would fall away, after which very many beings have settled.

Also depend on many living beings the life cycles from the full moon.

The Earth axis would be unstable in the long term. Whole continents could be turned into other climate zones (thousands of years).

The moon has greatly promoted and shaped the development of life on earth. I strongly doubt whether it is necessary for us in the medium term. But it is necessary for many beings. They have nasty cards that would affect our lives for a long time.

The tides would fall away or be significantly reduced, as the sun also causes tides, but significantly lower than the moon. And as the foreman wrote, many animals (especially marine animals, but also many land animals, which, for example, use the moonlight for night hunting) depend on the tides without they would probably die these species, which would have far-reaching consequences. However, agriculture in coastal and coastal regions is also heavily dependent on tide and flood and no food without agriculture. In addition, the stabilization of the Earth’s axis would fall away, which would only become noticeable in the long term due to strong climate changes.

  • No tidal forces, so no tide and flood
  • an unstable rotation of the earth
  • the following chaotic climate and vegetation changes

In any case, a lot more comets would hit the earth, which is of course quite unsightly

The moon is a large part of comets from impinging on our earth

This would be different, especially without a full moon and Ebbe&Flut, but the change in the time of day took place in the past, while an unstable Earth axis would only have an impact in the future!
