Well, 70 liters say a little bit about the floor area, but is probably a slightly higher 60’s pool, which is quite close when you consider that it can become ~15cm long, better would be an 80’s, 200 liters don’t have to be.

There are antennas on the nose. This is a young man.

Females also have these extensions, only less pronounced, but he is also very young.

For the questioner, the spots show that he has stress, at least does not feel comfortable, why always!

Hello

This is a “normal antenna cat” or brown antenna cat. It is the most common aquarium. Often it is falsely called “Ancistrus dolichopterus”. The real Ancistrus dolichopterus is however deep black with white dots, and clearly larger.

This globally widespread aquarium type of Ancistrus does not have a scientific shady name.

PS

It’s a young male.

From my point of view, you can easily keep the animal in a 70 l aquarium. From 80 cm / 112 l is the middle consensus, but sometimes seriously: these are fish that are most likely lying under a piece of wood and sleeping.

You can just wait. The catfish has about “16 years of man” so it still grows. If it becomes larger than 12 cm you can still convey it in good hands.

seriously fish says from 54 l. I’ll join him. I think AB 200 l is grotesque.

I also find it basically sucking off any already purchased fish just because the aquarium is too small in some people’s opinion. Are “just” opinions anyway. And conversion is bad for a fish.

I’m tapping an antenna.
