Which film is one of the scariest and most violent in the world?

We're having a Christmas movie night today, so we're looking for the craziest and scariest horror film of all time. It should be extremely disturbing, even for adults (even those with horror movie experience). It should be extremely disturbing, to the point of being unbearable. This film should be guaranteed not to be boring and should be a real hit, so that even 90% or 95% of the audience can't watch it anymore after a short while.
