The downtown of Detmold is very beautiful and has many historical sights and interesting shopping opportunities. You can visit the old town hall and stroll along the Detmolder Altstadt. There are also many cafés, restaurants, museums and other entertainment venues.

Overall, it is fun to stroll through the picturesque old town.

It depends on what? Historical buildings? Museums? I love the old town of Minden and its shops. All other places you have listed but in their way also their benefits. Even Bielefeld has absolutely beautiful corners to offer!
