Danke! 🙂

Hello,

for full HD resolution and the graphics card, a good processor is required to not cause a bottleneck.
If you already have an AM4 platform, go to the Ryzen 7 5700x3D. Otherwise clearly select the AM5 platform. Ryzen 5 7600x3D or the Ryzen 7 9800x3D when he comes.

Ryzen 7 5700x3D would be a good upgrade! Have a RTX 3060 12gb and also this CPU and are very satisfied. Games run liquid and look good from 🙂

If you already own an AM4 platform then the 5700X3D is a good upgrade.
Otherwise try to buy an AM5 (Ryzen 7700 or if cheap must be 7500f), will be cheaper in a long time.

the 3080 TI is a good choice.

You can’t install AMD CPU with an Intel board anyway.

The 7500f won’t be faster in gaming, you’re right.
But as already said, if you ever want to upgrade your CPU again, you would have to “smooth” your AM4 motherboard and DDR4 and buy a new Mobo and RAM again anyway. You can buy an AM5 board directly and take the few percentages less performance in later you can just clean up a new CPU and finish it.

AMD has promised to support the AM5 to 2027, so still 2-3 other CPU generations.

I’d rather guess about it.
AM5 motherboards (B650M) are available from 100€, plus a 7500f for 148€. The RAM is expensive at all, 32GB (2×16) 6000CL30 are 100€

But all this isn’t SUPER much more expensive than AM4 and you can upgrade your CPU without problems in a few years. While at AM4 the DDR4 and the motherboard will be outdated.

Have AM4 and I am satisfied.
