What flower is this? I found it at the edge of a field (but near a garden center, so I don't know if it's a wildflower).
It has several small flowers, each with four petals. The inner ones are smaller, the outer ones larger.
ATTENTION: The actual color does not match the picture. It is dark purple-reddish. It closely resembles the dark purple part of the pansy in the bottom picture!

Hi, is light a type of vitamin/mineral, and could it perhaps be produced artificially so that plants could grow without light? Or could you just water the plant directly with what it actually produces from absorbing sunlight? Shouldn't that also work, perhaps allowing the plant to grow larger and produce fruit?
