Welche Besoldungsgruppe nach abvsolviertem Dualen Studium beim BND?

Hallo,

Hello,

I am currently wondering how the entry level at the BND in the higher non-technical service looks. I would also like to know if the time-dependent stages are counted by the 3 years of study.

Best regards, and thank you for helpful answers!

Hello,

the entry level of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND) in the higher non-technical service may vary depending on the specific position and qualification. In general, the salary is governed by the German Federal Order Law (BBesG) and the corresponding grade groups.

### Entry in the higher service

In the higher service, one usually starts in the grade A13. Depending on the level of experience (levels 1 to 8), the basic salary in this grade is between approximately 4,400 and 6,200 euros gross per month (level 2024). Additional allowances and special payments may be added that affect the total income.

### Study time calculation

The calculation of the period of study to the levels of experience is possible in the public service, but depending on various factors:

1. **Type of study**: A study which has been completed as a preparatory service or as a dual study in the course of an official’s course is usually considered complete.

Two. **Occupational experience**: If you have gained relevant professional experience during your studies, this can also be counted.

3. **Law and internal rules**: The exact calculation depends on the specific regulations of the BND and the applicable statutory provisions.

It is advisable to enquire directly with the BND or with the relevant personnel department to obtain accurate information on the calculation of the period of study and the classification in the grades.

Best regards and great success in your career planning!

Each official earns according to the grade table, including those of the Federal Intelligence Service. At the higher service it starts with A13, currently 4592,31 € in level 1. In addition, there is a €250 service supplement for the above insolvency. The candidate period shall be counted for the years of service, i.e. you shall be in step 2 at the time of official.

5017,10 € (A13 Level 2) + 250 € (Note service supplement) = 5.267,10 €

With the 3-year dual study, one acquires career skills for the high-end non-technical service of the federal government and not for the higher service.

The entry into the elevated service takes place in grade A9 1 BBesG. A message service supplement is obtained at the BND Annex IX, point 8 BBesG.

The time of dual studies is not counted in the high level of experience, but this time counts as a resting service period and thus counts for the height of the later claims and for the waiting period to retire.

In the higher service the entry into grade A13 takes place. The level is based on whether you have studied at a university or university directly after school, or you can get from the gD in the course of an ascent procedure.

In the first case, the grouping is carried out in step 1. However, if one gets up to the higher service through an ascent procedure, that is to say one is already employed in the higher service, the time of the ascent study is counted.

Also in the higher service at the BND gives the message service allowance.

The height of the basic references can be found in Appendix IV.
