Most of the lighting makes LEDs. In a park of this size and the budgets that flow there, it is simply economically sensible to make almost everything with LEDs.

However, there are also areas with traditional light sources, such as, for example, halogen or mercury vapour lamps, for the park and midnight atomizer atmosphere, possibly still in the remote, original parking sections.

Nevertheless, even where there is no light pollution, old lighting technology will gradually be replaced by new LEDs.

Sometimes you will find traditional light bulbs in historical rides, but even there you will find only LEDs in the same design.

Heide Park has a colourful mix of different lights, most of which is the colour change typical of leisure parks. But there are almost all LED lamps.
