and as contrast the songwriter and pianist Agnes Obel from Gentofte (even if she now lives in Berlin).

Gitte Haenning came to me immediately – born in 1946 in the city of Aarhus. A great singer with many good and high-quality songs, yesterday her 80s hit “Now right” came on the radio. I find a song with content statement and an appealing arrangement – liked me as a teenager… that can still be heard today, only their older hits of the 60s/70s are too banal to me.

Lars Ulrich, Metallica’s drummer, was born in Denmark. That’s the only one I’m thinking about… otherwise Google’s search term “Musician Denmark” provides a lot of suggestions.

Yes… I’m on vinyl next to “Helpyourselfish on CD “No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims”. I’ve been very close to D.A.D…. The grace of early birth. 😅

I actually found them well, keyword ESC 2000, but in the 80s they also had good hits. The songs often came to Bavaria 1 … the good old times in Bavaria 1 Café with Petra Mentner.
