What type of account?
Hiii, I'm with the Sparkasse and would like to open a new account. I'm currently registered with my parents' account (so I have my own account, but it's all in my father's name, but he also has his own accounts under that account). Unfortunately, I don't know what the "big account" is called. How exactly do I do that, and which account should I open? There are current accounts, etc.
A normal current account for young people – but you can only create it without your parents when you are full-year. Make sure you really get the version without monthly fees.
I’m sorry I’m not full-year, what is it?
As long as you’re not full-year, you can’t even open an account. Your guards must do this for you. You probably think that your account is visible in your father’s online banking alongside his own accounts. That’s normal as long as you’re not full-year, he has insight and access to your account. As soon as you get 18, it will change anyway.
What’s wrong with you? Do you not have your own online banking and can only access your account through your father’s access? You could change that. Or shouldn’t your father look at your account? It’s probably not possible. But you can also easily inform the Sparkasse about the possibilities. You can’t make any changes on your own, but you can address your problem and inform you about possibilities, even without parents.
I would like to have a new account, the account what I have just been used for the inheritance what I got and for my driving license etc., if I go there this will always be a bit critical though I have a job and the money goes to the account. Therefore I would like to deposit a new account to which I mean, new” money so that this can be separated from my driving license etc.
