I mainly care for species pools. All basins are equipped with fine, natural pebble soil and stuffed with plants. I love it when the entire soil is covered with plants and 50 – 75% of all plants reach the water surface.

Basin sizes range from 150 to 400 liters… and contain only one single fish species.

And so I care for a Guppy, Platy, Liberty Molly and a Buckle Bearing aquarium.

My aquariums have been free of catfish and soil fish for many years. With the exception of two thorn eyes, which meanwhile have to be far more than 10 years old… and do not have found a suitable delivery kitten in the large overhaul of social and species ticks many years ago.

And then there is a small 50 liter nano aquarium, which is usually really edged with water plants. It serves as a home for my BluePearl-Garnelen family, which have also been swimming around there for years.

I can’t count my animals… because first of all the pools are too densely planted and you can just count a fish swarm badly. But if I have the feeling that the swarm is too big, animals are also conveyed to other aquarians.

Hello, I have in my 60 liters,

8 guppys (males)

6 red neons

3 breeches.

The lower layer I filled with blue gravel and the upper with fine sand for the catfish. Got four plants in it. And that was it.

About 20 Neonsalmler. Normal soil and relatively many plants + a few stones. They are now also quite fat and some of them are already several years (!) old.
