I would like to invest in one or more shares, Trade Republic is unfortunately falling away.

Which apps are available as an option.

Gives enough serious brokers. If TR fails, you can watch Scalable Capital, which have a comparable cost model in the free rate (0€ depot fees, 0.99€ order fees)

Otherwise you can also look directly at banks. ING or comdirect as direct banks, for example – the deposit itself is free, but order costs more (for example, ING 4.90€ + 0.25%, limited to 69.90€). I would also throw the DKB into the room, order costs fixed 10, 15 or 30€ (depending on volume). However, you will definitely need the current account of those who are free of charge if you enter at least 700€ per month (or you are below 28)

Sparkasse has said the make only ETFs

Sure? I am sure they also make actively managed funds;) I would anyway consider whether the Sparkasse would be the right point of contact, even from the cost structure alone.
