The apple lover doesn’t care about the colour – there are sweet and acidic, aromatic and fade, crisp and softer, juicy and dry,… better and less good varieties in all colours.
It always depends on the individual variety!

I like red Delicious and Royal Gala, they are sweet, aromatic.

Most of them are best, really nicely acidic.

We have a tree Berlepsch and a boscope. All colors are represented on both of them from green to yellow to red.
Two very good varieties!
I find green the most beautiful.
