Which Alexa accessories do you need?
The question is above. I have an Alexa and would like to upgrade my room with more of a smart home feature. What are some useful items that can be controlled with Alexa and that I "need," or rather, which are useful, whether in everyday life or not.
Smart light bulbs and thermostats, Smart plugs to completely switch off power from certain sources, an Alexa compatible sound system, FireTV stick to stream, so everything.
Are the heater controllers with Alexa compatible with all heaters?
Most adapters come with to make them compatible for each radiator. With Dannfoss controllers you usually need an adapter, otherwise they usually work without. The Smart Controller “calibrates” during installation, thus testing how far it can press the valve in and how far it comes out to ensure the correct control. In addition, they come with an internal thermostat, so turn off themselves at a temperature that is reached, or control down to keep the temperature.
Thank you.
The smart controllers are installed directly where you adjust the heating, i.e. on the rotary controller. It is disassembled and replaced by the Smart Controller. As I said, all come with adapters.
I can recommend this from Bosch:

Note that the bundle set with gateway is necessary for control via Alexa, which must be attached to the router via cable. A wireless alternative would be that of KETOTEK:

What’s the gateway for? Well, no data is stored in any cloud, but only locals on the gateway. This also serves as a secure connection point to the Internet, if you want to regulate the temperature on the go. Thus, several devices from Ketotek can also be controlled via this one gateway, which is practical if you want to control several heaters. Smart lightbulbs, on the other hand, have an integrated wifi chip and therefore do not need a gateway, and since no relevant data need to be stored anywhere, they are also safe.
All right, but have a rather older radiator from the barely 80s to 70s. A recommendation for this? If you like a link. Perfect would of course be Amazon

That’s it.
I already have a good place for my echo, nevertheless thank you 😉
