Instead of almond flour, you can also take ground almonds (mandelgrieß).

Only with flour is the cake pappy.

Sure, you can take wheat flour as a substitute. The cake will then taste slightly different and the consistency could change slightly, but it should still work. Great success in baking! 🍰🥕

I wouldn’t do it because the cake gets dry.
