Will the return ticket remain valid if the flight is interrupted during a stopover?
I have booked a flight from Düsseldorf via Dubai and Bangkok to Chiang Mai (departure November 17). Due to changed entry regulations, I have to interrupt the flight for one day for testing and quarantine in a hotel in Bangkok. Due to poor service, I have not been able to rebook through the travel portal where I booked. Can I only make a reservation to Bangkok when checking in, and will the return ticket still be valid? I would appreciate a prompt response.

If a flight part is not used, all other booked flights fall. Must try to reach the airline.
All segments must be “flied” exactly as booked.
You have to rebook.
Thanks for the answer.
I guess the airline won’t play with you. If you book such tickets, you are experiencing high risk of default.
