Wisdom tooth surgery?

Hey, so I'm going to have a wisdom tooth pulled soon. I've already had wisdom tooth surgery. I don't have any problems, so I don't feel any pain, and it doesn't bother me either. I often read that this surgery is only necessary if the tooth bothers you or hurts, which isn't the case for me. Could I just cancel the surgery? My dentist always said I don't have enough space in my mouth, but like I said, I don't have any problems at all. Is the surgery still necessary? What would happen if I cancel it? Can I have the tooth pulled if I do have problems one day? I don't understand why now if it doesn't bother me.

Hello idkdkdkdk,

In the past one was quicker to draw the wisdom teeth, today one is more reserved.

Of course, you can cancel any operation, but I assume that your dentist has not proposed this procedure without reason.

Actually, you wrote it yourself. You have too little room in your mouth. Is this wisdom tooth already completely there, or is it still – he moves – he shifts the rest?

That would be a real problem. Wisdom teeth are very large and can move the whole bite in no time. That’s what we want to prevent.

Maybe you should talk to your dentist before?

Good luck!

It’s DEIN mouth. You may also reject the surgery if you are in pain or you are constantly blocking the jaw.

The doctor should tell you again why exactly he recommends the surgery and then you meet the decision.
