White spot in the iris?
Hey people.
So I've had a white "spot" in my iris since birth and my parents and I have already been to the eye doctor and he said that's just how I am.
I don't have impaired/poor vision, so I see completely normally or even have pretty good eyesight, I would say.
Anyway, my question is, can anyone tell me what this is and what it's called? Do you know anyone who has something like this? Or is it truly unique?
(My eye)
If you really think about it, you can get a second opinion of another ophthalmologist.
I wouldn’t worry about it first. Especially since you’ve already got a warning from an ophthalmologist.
I don’t know anyone who’s got this and what they call it.
I find, if it’s really nothing bad, a pretty cool feature to be honest 🙂 mega unique 🙂
Go back to an ophthalmologist. It could be a change of the connective skin. A wrinkle or anger. Or a genetic speciality.
It’s a contact lens?
No
I’ve never seen anything like that.
You’re missing a piece of the Iris. What does the 🤪Cuckoo judge say?
Is that a contact lens?
My eye? No, that’s real
Looks like a tumor to be honest. It delimits from the rest of your eye.
As people here always scream “Tumor” immediately. It’s apparently been since birth and it was immediately cleared. If it were bad, he/she would probably not be able to see anything on the eye!
Right! Get on the table right here
Tumor is not always deadly, cancer and terrible, but okay. There are also benign tumors where nothing has to be done. Like in this case.
And even ask “is this a contact lens?”🙄🤦🏼 ♀️
I know. But I don’t think it’s a child / adolescent. But okay.
