Does anyone know what is in the soil of my plants?
I had to bury a Monstera because it died. Now I've taken it out of the pot and I see these strange white things in the soil. Does anyone know what they could be? Because I have a lot of plants, I have to be careful just in case.
I would be very grateful for any advice and information.
without photo, an assessment is very difficult.
Photo is now added. Sorry.
What did you use for substrates? looks like Perlit for me.
I could imagine that she would have benefited from a ransom. In addition, it could have been located on staunässe (so that the roots are lazy, that would also be suitable for making them brown inside in some places).
Maybe you have a guess.
I bought them at Ikea about 3 years ago. They’ve grown like the wilds. They have been converted into larger pots for two times. The one is still growing without braking, the 2th has now completely broken me within 10. Leaves were brown hanging through and that was. I’ve seen the ones that cut the inside, where it is normal bright, in places brown.
Some sad, they look beautiful.
you may find one or the other point of reference, which is why your plant has entered: https://feey.ch/pages/monstera
then it would make sense, there is perlite in it. Probably your monsters came in for another reason. (too small or too large pot, wrong location, nutrient deficiency, old earth…)
The earth from the link mixed with about 1/3 humus earth from the farmer in the village with us.

Is there something moving? Is this stuff hard or soft (biological)?
Appearance is most likely to be like Knöllchen as from Knöllchenbakterien, but did not know the Monstera has that…
There has nothing to do with it, they could already be rubbed between the fingers but were more like sandstone.
Is it just outside the ball or inside?
Sounds more like lime precipitation or something…
Probably use lice, plastic gloves there is cheap
