Soft strawberries?
Is it normal that strawberries are sometimes very soft and taste different?
We made strawberry cake yesterday, like every year, but as always, the strawberries were very dark and soft and tasted mushy. My mom says you can still eat them. I'm not sure if it's just the cake.
German strawberries are best. Everything else comes from abroad and has long trails.
I’d rather wait until the local strawberries are ripe.
