Website not findable via keywords on Google?

Hi guys,

I created a website myself using WordPress. Until two weeks ago, it was perfectly discoverable using certain keywords when entering them into the Google search engine. My site was listed fourth on the first page. This worked perfectly for two years. Now, suddenly, my site is no longer discoverable at all. Unless you Google the direct domain. But if you enter the keywords, for example: puzzles for children…, countless other sites appear. Of course, all Google plugins, SEO, etc., are on the site. No error messages are displayed anywhere.

What can I do to make my page visible again?

Hey Julia, Google is constantly updating the way whites and web pages are evaluated and played out accordingly in search. Recently, there have been a lot of updates about the (content) quality of the page. This is not supposed to mean that your content is bad, only that Google evaluates other pages better.

Another possibility would be that you or your side were punished by Google. That’s unlikely. Whether this is the case can be seen in the “Google Search Console”. However, it is not necessary to set up this for a short time for the respective website if you do not already have access to it.

Without knowing the website, you can’t say much more about it. If you tell the domain, you could see if the entire website is really out of the Google Index, how the site currently ranks and what possible causes could be.

Then have the better content, are better linked, are more up-to-date, are more extensive etc.

Of course, all Google plugins, SEO etc. are on the page

And did you set up smoking candles? Brings the same as all your plugins for SEO.

What can I do to see my page again?

Provide high-quality content and links.

Join your Google Search Console, as you get important insights about your website.

Is your robots.txt set right?

Do you have a good sitemap.xml?

Have you ever done a WordPress update, which could have caused the error?

I think WordPress has shot you with some update times ne file.

As said: Register your website at the Google Search Console, as you will get more information first.
