Website for proofreaders?

Hey

There are websites where you can find proofreaders for your manuscript….

But can this also be restricted?

So if I write a crime novel, for example, do I say, yes, I want people who work for the police, etc.?

Or is there somewhere where I can list the topics that come up so that the test readers know whether it's a good fit for them?

I'm kind of worried that someone might read it who it's not for at all….

Or would also need specialist knowledge in some areas

No, there’s no such thing. What you want would be almost a lecture – and that’s expensive.

Sample/beta reading costs a lot of time. More if you want detailed feedback. You have to be lucky if you ever find someone. For example, I only rarely do this, just because of the time.

You can try it in writing forums. felteredufel or belletristica would offer. Would be worth a try.

Certainly somewhere. I don’t know where. But at Fanfiction, for example, you can choose if it is more fantasy, love, crime, etc.

Others can also say comments.

I don’t really think so. I hope I could help.
