Web.de has an address?
I created an email on Web.de a while ago and received a letter today. The contents of the letter aren't bad, but I'm just surprised.
I don't remember giving them my address, but based on the letter, it seems they did.
Does anyone know how this could have happened?
When creating the e-mail address, you also provide your personal information such as the address. Maybe you don’t like to remember it, but they are definitely asked and must be specified. Without it, no registration can take place at least nowadays.
When you create your email account, you usually also enter your address
Maybe you were asked about it?
Or it may happen that if you registered with Google, Google has passed your address. Must not be 😉
You might know that from the sender.
