Simple and logical

New routers in free sale are not routers of providers. Because you don’t buy it from the provider.

So you can get every time you like. My speedport came from the A&V €20 has been running for 6 years. The Telekom technician who was recently here was also satisfied and didn’t mean to let anyone turn.

Can you buy free routers at all or do you have to free them only through a flash? I had bought a TP-Link Wi-Fi router many years ago, which, like so many other devices, had an article number. But who also does not prevent him from being happy with an OpenWRT 😉

If you buy new routers in free trade, the providers do not have firmware on it.

This is quite possible in the case of used persons. As far as I know, this is usually not visible on the outside.

If your Fritzbox is needed and that’s one of Vodafone, Vodafone will be able to get this when you sign up and probably won’t just unlock it, as these are rental equipment and the seller shouldn’t have sold you. Some still do this…

Yeah, and it probably works anyway.

Hello,

there is no longer a router since 2016 and so you can use all routers, wherever and from whom at all providers.

However, since the belief that the provider sells the best router, continues to exist in mind, a lot of changers buy the one from the new provider (although everything has already been set – the simplest for total lay people)

Therefore, it is best to buy a used router for normally educated people and to set the provider values themselves. You often get the latest routers for little money…

So just find a suitable router and good.

Best regards from Leipzig
