WD MyCloud EX2 ultra how do I reset user and password?
I wanted to set up the NAS server correctly on the computer in This PC as the drive. I changed the username and password. I had help via TeamViewer. I got an error message about the password. My help via TeamViewer was logged in and created a drive for me. My problem now is: the dashboard doesn't accept the username and password. How do I reset this completely? I tried resetting the device with a ballpoint pen, but that didn't work either. Does anyone have any advice?
It sounds like you have difficulty accessing your NAS server, especially when resetting the user and password. If resetting via the reset button on the device does not work, it could be that the reset mechanism works differently than expected. Some devices only reset the network settings at a short print, while a longer print (usually 10-30 seconds) resets the user accounts and passwords. If this does not work, you can check if there is a specific tool or instructions from the manufacturer to reset the device. Many NAS manufacturers (such as Synology, QNAP or Western Digital) provide detailed instructions or recovery tools that can also help restore access via the web interface. If that doesn’t help, you could try to contact the manufacturer’s support. They can usually provide additional assistance with the serial number of the device and your proof of purchase. It is important that you keep quiet – such problems are often detachable, even if it sometimes needs some patience.
I have already done everything either only English phone support comes no connection to the device with 40 seconds I need to try again
It sounds like you’ve tried a lot, but the problem remains. If Deutsche Telekom support could not help and you constantly get the message that “no connection to the device” is possible, it could be that the problem is either the glass fiber modem or the line itself. Sometimes it can also be an error in the connection between the glass fiber modem and the Fritzbox, which could be eliminated by a simple restart. If the modem or the Fritzbox do not synchronize properly, it can come to the slow speeds you experience. It could also be that there is a problem on the provider’s side that slows the connection. In this case, it often helps to contact the support again and to point out exactly the type of error description, especially when the speed test constantly displays too low values. Deutsche Telekom may then look specifically for the mistake and determine whether everything is correctly set up. If you see in the Fritzbox that the connection is displayed as “glass fiber”, but nevertheless the speed is greatly reduced, this often indicates a mismatch or a technical problem.
this is a NAS memory from Western digital I have a login error in the cloud I don’t get away
that does not have to do with my fritzbox
