Wasserschaden an PC erkennen ohne Kurzen?
Sehr geehrtes Gute Frage Team.
First, the PC is basically disconnected from the current.
After this, completely disassemble and dry. Never make the mistakes to test components directly after the water damage. You have to dry first
If, despite everything, the hardware is trying to run (as with you) the hardware is broken in 99% of all cases. Water damage can be easily detected if white residues remain similar to flour when drying. These crystal residues are from the salt which is in the water. Pure distilled water without proportions of salts, so that you could use a PC theoretically Underwater to work (Reines, Salt-free water does not lead any electricity) .
even in the power supply, this could be detected when the dust collections were more or less wet and were dried. To this end, the housing should be opened from the power supply, so that the warranty is lost.
Of course, the power supply should not depend on the current. the danger of a power strike is too great.
Therefore, pull off from the power to separate 5-10 minutes. Open it
If the hard drive is over, then it is not very likely that the rest has survived. In a professional environment, it is urgent to be advised that such hardware should continue to operate after attempting to recover data, as the technical insurance Harakiri should be.
If the computer catches fire in two days and burns the company, there’s no insurance when they find out about the water damage in advance.
In general, the replacement for water damage should also be covered by insurance, or are there seriously companies that do not insure their production areas?
Well, then I’m gone again…. 🤷 ♂️
…because you don’t Teamplayer are you?
