Water in socket?

I just dropped my glass on my power strip, and now it's pretty wet. I immediately unplugged it and put it on the radiator to dry. I had to rush to school, so I couldn't think of anything to do. Is there a fire hazard or something if it's no longer plugged in? What's the best way to dry it, and when can I plug something in again?

Let it dry well and watch during reuse should be sufficient.

If you’re scared, dispose.

This can cause a fire. This has nothing to be afraid of.

I think you’ve never been in the situation. Multiple sockets are generally quite dangerous.

As long as the socket is dry, there is no direct risk of fire. Let them dry thoroughly before you use them again. If you are unsure, contact an electrician best to make sure everything is okay.

Hello

If she’s not plugged in, there’s no risk of fire. If it is on the heating it is already dried until tomorrow and you can use it again

Would honestly buy me a new one.

I don’t like water and electronics.

If it was water and no juice you’ve done everything right!

If the multiple socket is dry, you can use it safely again.

Yeah, that can start burning, I’ve had it before.

You shouldn’t use the multiple socket anymore and throw it away.

When you come home, you’ll throw them in the garbage, cut off the plug, so that they don’t use anyone else.

Apparently in Austria have other water which does not provide corrosion.

The water dries up in a short time because there is no corrosion
