Is the washing machine safe or should I replace it?

Hello – unfortunately, our washing machine was thrown down the basement stairs during our last move about a year ago – accidentally, of course ๐Ÿ™‚

It works, but it is defective and the front is damaged.

Since the dishwasher is now acting up, I'm thinking about bringing it up with the repair service and possibly having the lid replaced.
What would you say? Is the machine that secure, or do you have any suggestions on how to lock it?

So, if the repair service sees the condition, it will propose not only to replace the cover. During the fall, the suspension of the drum, water pipes and connecting parts in the machine can also have been damaged. It will definitely not be a small repair.

No unusual noises during operation or during spin? If not, then luck again. If there should be a repair cafe in the surrounding area, write up data from the World Cup and ask for spare parts – could be worthwhile.
