Switch to “pumps” when the filter is removed and see if the pump is running.

Check the drain hose on bends. When the drain hose at the sink, wherever fixed, is connected, screw off and control connection to be free. Hang hose into a bucket, switch washing machine with water to drain, then water would have to come into the bucket in a sash.

If it dumps but does not hurdle, it could lie on worn carbon brushes of the engine, which must then be renewed
