If you want additional time to prepare for your new job, it would make sense to work immediately.
From an employer’s point of view, I find it fair to me when employees are quitting when they are no longer with all their hearts.
Depending on how much engagement you are with, it would only be fair to your employer if necessary. to announce immediately.
Personal opinion: do it immediately. Why drag something unnecessarily into the length with what you have already completed & not depend on it? 🙂
