I’m not an expert but would say. If it is sturdy and depending on the material. In addition, if the external pressure is stronger than the internal pressure, or is balanced, there is actually not much happening.

Does it explode?

If you mean the fuel tank of a car: No, it doesn’t explode, it doesn’t even burst. Because it is not completely dense – excess fuel can also escape via the vent opening.

A densely built tank could explode, but more likely it will only be worshipped.

I’ve seen a car standing on the road and gasoline ran out. Unfortunately, the road also had a strong inclination.
Exploding can only be a gasoline-air mixture. Discharged gasoline is just burning, and it has to be ignited for the first time.

Exploding – rather no, because it would have to be ignited (fuel-air radio).

However, if the tank is too full, it can overflow because the tank closures have a vent valve.

You’re still going after the fuel tanks somewhere, there it can be agitated. In addition, after the 1st coat, one to two liters still fit in when filling. you have to refuel very penetrant to get a problem (running). 100 liters expand by about 2 liters in the summer.

Why would something explode? A suitable mixing ratio of fuel and oxygen needs and an ignition source. Not given both.

Normally, the tank just runs over.

If there is actually a rimful tank and a correspondingly high pressure, the tank bursts and then runs out. This isn’t anything that happens to a big bang.

Actually, a car tank has an overfill protection (or the pump column shuts off) or then the gasoline will splash out when you’ve done it too full. You can’t fill a tank in that sense.

Probably not, the tank itself is expanding.

The gasoline expands, the tank runs over, the gasoline drips down and it forms a small cap. What happens then depends on whether, for example, someone randomly throws a burning cigarette there, then the gasoline starts to burn exactly under the car and what happens then…….
If it is hot outside, the gasoline partially evaporates and the vapours can ignite, for example, on the hot exhaust system or the cat, then there is a puffing and the gasoline burns exactly under the car and then what happens….

No, that’s going out.
