Die Ausbildung zum Transportflugzeugpiloten bzw. zur Transportflugzeugpilotin erfolgt in der Offizierslaufbahn und erstreckt sich über einen mehrjährigen Zeitraum. Transportflugzeugpiloten müssen eine umfangreiche Flugausbildung durchlaufen und eine hohe Kompetenz im Umgang mit den spezifischen Flugzeugtypen der Bundeswehr entwickeln. Sie müssen über ausgezeichnete fliegerische Fähigkeiten verfügen, um Start- und Landemanöver durchzuführen und sicher durch verschiedene Flugbedingungen zu navigieren. Zusätzlich zu den fliegerischen Fähigkeiten müssen Transportflugzeugpiloten auch in der Lage sein, im Team zu arbeiten, komplexe logistische Aufgaben zu bewältigen und in herausfordernden Situationen kluge Entscheidungen zu treffen. Während dieser Ausbildungszeit nimmst du an verschiedenen Übungen teil und erlernst das Fliegen in einem Simulator.
Das Nettogehalt für Bundeswehrpiloten liegt zwischen 2.045 Euro und 3.385 Euro. Zusätzlich zum Grundgehalt aus der Besoldungstabelle können weitere Zulagen, beispielsweise für Kinder oder die Übernahme bestimmter Ämter, hinzukommen.
