Was tut der Rettungsdienst?
Guten Abend zusammen,
Ich danke im Voraus für die Antworten.
Hi.
In principle, retaliatory action is limited to a complete Investigation with the relevant vital parameters (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) – and possibly one symptomatic therapy.
There are no specific measures against Capsaicin (and are not required).

Thank you very much. 😀
This is a strange case, as you would definitely notice if you had 3-4 million Scoville in your mouth.
In principle, the rescue service will first measure your vital parameters to get a picture of what it is about you. If there is a certain risk of your health by what you have eaten, it may be that you are taken to the hospital where the stomach is pumped out.
Thank you very much, fortunately it never happened to me personally, I was only concerned with the question of what the Sani’s then do first. 😀
Rescue service always makes the same…
– Pay attention to self-assurance
– A first examination to find out if there is a life-threatening situation including raising all possible readings
– Anamnese and structured examination
– targeted treatment.
In your example, of course, you can feel that you somehow don’t get any air or something is broken in the mouth-to-mouth area. It’d be quick to refute. Extremely sharp food can, of course, also cause considerable circulatory problems. And finally, there can be quite relevant pain symptoms.
So what measures are actually necessary cannot be said so clearly. Everything is conceivable from recommendation for milk to mitigate the sharpness to infusion and painkillers
You’re not going to eat without further food with a degree of sharpness of 3-4 million Scoville. At the latest in your mouth you will notice it and most likely spit out.
Without symptoms there will be nothing but vital parameters anyway and sharp food alone is no reason for the RD.
Thank you very much and thank you for being a paramedic? Of course, that would be absolutely vital to swallow a lot of sharpness.
The total population does not, of course, participate in disturbed capsaicin competitions.
Nix, because it’s not a medical emergency.
Such a nonsense can lead to massive circulatory problems etc.
That’s why there’s absolutely caution at this sharpness.

So I am convinced a case report as level 6 evidence now not 🥱. There are many interesting individual case reports that have no clinical relevance for the entire population.
Every day, there are known to offer 100 rescue services in gastronomy to the Chilischoten.
A vasoconstriction syndrome is an absolute rarity and perhaps one should talk about an individual case here.
