What should I do if Media Markt does not want to repair or exchange an item?
Hello everyone,
I'm really starting to lose my mind. So, about eight months ago, I bought a mouse (Kone XP Air) from Media Markt. The problem was that after a few months, the mouse started having problems (with the scroll wheel). I lived with it for a while because I was relatively lazy to return the product, until today.
Anyway, today I used my warranty. Unfortunately, I was told that the mouse is only sold through a third-party seller, and they won't replace or repair it (they only want to refund it). That wouldn't have been a problem, really, if I hadn't gotten the mouse for such a great deal (down from around €170 to €99).
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be done? The fact that they don't want to repair it is a bit cheeky in my opinion, since mouse wheel-related repairs should be relatively easy.
Probably the product is badly done and it cannot be repaired. The remaining items were reduced to good luck and sold.
Take the refund money and be happy.
If that’s over 3. You are relatively powerless. If you don’t want to do a minus, you might be able to search for a tech reperature store. They usually do that. So at Media Markt you don’t have to try it anymore.
The problem is that I bought it directly from Media Markt (via their online shop), at the time there were no 3 providers for this product. I’ll have to ask Roccat for a discount. But thanks for the answer
A third party is not one of the 3rd You can understand it like this: A company produces a car. It’s sold to a dealer. And he sells that at his load. So also on your product Mediamarkt buys it from someone else and then sell it. Hope could help you with this:D
Nothing.
Either you are satisfied with a return or have had bad luck.
Now, just order Amazon, what a shit. Nevertheless, thanks
Why, that’s the same thing! You get the discounted purchase price refunded… If the article is now more expensive, you have had bad luck, even with Amazon.
It’s not that. Amazon is just a lot bigger when you want to change something and are still in the warranty period, you will get the exchange without asking any questions.
Yes, you’re right, you can choose the exchange option. 1:0 for Amazon.
Is that serious? This is absolutely not the same. The discount is no longer available and I now have to pay for a product error. The fact that they don’t even want to repair the mouse is a real blow in the face.
Amazon would have changed the product right away.
Accessories often have no or only a short-term warranty (e.g. 3 – 6 months).
Since my answer comes a little late, however, one of at least 2 years is given to such things.
This is the case with most items that have to do with Pc’s.
